As a lifelong dancer, choreographer, and performer, Kristyn relied on cross-training, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and strength training to keep her body healthy throughout her performing career. Experiencing firsthand how those tools could improve performance, prevent injury, and extend a physically demanding career inspired her to study the body in greater depth. That journey eventually led her to massage therapy and a lifelong pursuit of understanding how people move, heal, and perform at their best.

For more than fifteen years, Kristyn has practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist, blending techniques such as sports massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, assisted stretching, and prenatal and postpartum massage to create treatments tailored to each individual’s needs. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all routine, she evaluates how each client moves, where restrictions originate, and what will provide the greatest benefit on that particular day.

Driven by a desire to better understand the science behind movement, Kristyn earned her Master of Science in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, where she contributed to published research on human movement and performance. She currently teaches massage therapy at Gwinnett College, instructs yoga at Gruvn Yoga Soul Center, and coaches personal training clients online. These experiences allow her to bring together anatomy, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and hands-on bodywork into a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to care.

When she’s not working with clients or teaching, Kristyn enjoys gaming, yoga, strength training, and spending time with her husband, Mike, and their two sons. She is excited to help clients at Explore Health & Wellness move more comfortably, recover more effectively, and continue doing the activities they love.
